In this lesson, we will learn to draw a little bunny with a pencil step by step. It is a pretty simple lesson that is great for beginners and kids.
Step 1. Draw the shape of the bunny's head and ears.
Draw an oval shape for the bunny's head, only tapering slightly towards the nose. Next, draw an eye, a small nose, and small ears. For now, draw everything with light lines.
Step 2. Draw the shape of the bunny's body.
Add another, bigger oval to outline the body of the bunny.
Step 3. Draw the bunny's paws.
Outline the visible bunny's paws: two front and one back.
Step 4. Draw the bunny's fur. Paint over the eye.
Now, we will imitate a bunny's fur with small curves and lines. We imitate the fur on a bunny's head, body, and paws. Then, paint over the eye. Erase the lines that we no longer need.
Step 5. Start shading the bunny's drawing.
Shade with a light tone near the eye with separate lines. On the body, we also show the borders of different shading in a light tone. Then, add the whiskers.
Step 6. Finishing the bunny's drawing.
Continue detailing the bunny's fur with lines going in the direction of hair growth. Apply a few lines in a darker tone to give the drawing realism. Then, add the fur in front of the ear and shade the ear itself. The bunny drawing is ready.
