Today, we will be drawing a frog. There are about 400 species of frogs. There are tiny and gigantic ones, croaking and silent, poisonous and harmless, living in water, on earth, underground, in mountains, forests, swamps, meadows, and under the steps of old houses. For our frog drawing, I chose the cutest, in my opinion, amphibian.
Step 1. Outline the body of the frog with ovals, circles, and lines.
With simple geometric shapes, we outline the body of the frog. The larger ellipse is the future body, the smaller one is the head, the small circles are the eyes, and the axes diverging from the central axis are strong hind limbs.
Step 2. Draw the shape of the body of the frog.
Using the original simple geometric shapes, outline the torso, head, and hind legs of the amphibian. Also, outline the front feet and draw the eyes.
Step 3. Draw the frog's feet, body, and eye in more detail.
Draw the frog's legs and feet in more detail. Look at the frog's unusual pupil - it is horizontal. This feature of the pupil gives the frog a strange vision: it can see only moving objects.
Step 4. Shading, hatching, and finishing the frog drawing.
In the last step of our frog drawing, we will shade the places that fall into the shadow. If desired, you can add elements of the environment in which the frog is located.
