We are continuing our preparation for the Halloween. In today's drawing tutorial, we will learn how to draw a cartoon bat for Halloween. We will place our bat against the background of a large moon. For drawing, we will use a simple drawing set.
Necessary materials:
paper;
colour pencils;
black marker;
eraser;
white gel pen;
HB pencil.
Step 1. Draw the two circles outlining the position of the bat and the moon.
We draw two circles of different diameters to outline a large moon and a bat in its background.
Step 2. Draw the outline of the Halloween bat's wings.
We begin to form wings on the sides of a small circle in the form of lines. We also refine the contour of the torso.
Step 3. Draw the Halloween bat's ears and wings.
We draw in detail the contour of the wings and the details in the middle. Add big ears. Erase the auxiliary lines with an eraser.
Step 4. Draw the eyes and mouth on our Halloween bat's muzzle.
We draw the muzzle of a bat with all the details.
Step 5. Draw over the original pencil drawing with a black marker.
In this step of our drawing tutorial, we work out the entire outline of the drawing with a black marker.
Step 6. Pain the Halloween's bat ears and mouth.
Use a red and pink pencil to paint over the areas of the ears and mouth.
Step 7. Use grey and black pencils to paint the body of the Halloween bat.
Fill in the areas with black and gray pencil.
Step 8. Paint the moon behind our Halloween bat.
In the last step of our drawing tutorial, we also work on the moon with a yellow and gray pencil and around it. Add highlights to the drawing with a white gel pen. Ready!
