In this drawing tutorial, we will make a drawing of a scorpion, step by step, with an ordinary simple pencil.

Step 1. Draw the main contours of the scorpion
For the initial outlines, draw one long line with a curve at the end. This will be the outline of the torso and the tail. Another line outlines the claws. Add a small oval at the intersection of these lines and put a curved dash where the body of the scorpion will end.

Step 2. Draw the shape of the body of a scorpion
Draw the outline of the torso and partially outline the claws.

Step 3. How to draw the scorpion's claws
Draw the claws of a scorpion with light contour lines, or rather, you need to continue the existing lines. Then, draw the contours of the paws, four on each side.

Step 4. Draw scorpion's shell
Finish drawing the paws and start drawing the shell in detail. The tail of a scorpion has a segmental structure, so divide this contour into several sections. Then, draw a line separating the head from the body.

Step 5. The scorpion drawing is almost finished
Start this step by removing extra contour lines from the tail drawing. As a result, the tail will consist of segments, just like a real scorpion. In this step, we will draw the lower part of the body of the scorpion. Then, draw in detail the claws.

Step 6. Scorpion drawing pencil shading
Scorpions in real-life range colors of the body and shell, including yellow, black, red, and even blue colors. If you want to achieve a real resemblance to a real scorpion, find a photo of a scorpion on the Internet and copy its coloring with colored pencils or paints. To make the picture of a scorpion more realistic, draw a scorpion crawling on the sand. The desert is their native element.
