Today, we will try to draw a middle-aged oak at the forest's edge.
Step 1. Outline the trunk and the main branches of the oak.
The principles of drawing an oak, bush, or willow are the same, except that each tree has an individual shape. First, we draw the silhouette of the oak tree, its powerful trunk, and its branches.
Step 2. Outline the leaves of the oak.
In a circular motion, outline future leaves.
Step 3. Start adding details to the oak drawing.
Start detailing the trunk of the oak. We start with the hardest pencil in the spectrum and gradually move on to the softest.
Step 4. Start adding shadows to the oak tree drawing.
Draw the smaller oak branches and twigs. Notice how the branches in the foreground and the background are in shadow. With a hard pencil, which always gives some transparency, trace the background. With soft pencil - the front and darkest areas of the picture at the background.
Step 5. Draw the oak leaves in more detail.
Continue drawing the oak leaves with short strokes. Continue hatching the trunk and the branches to show their darker parts.
Step 6. Draw the grass below the oak tree. Finish drawing the leaves.
Add more grass below the oak tree. Finish drawing the leaves. The oak tree drawing is complete.
